We are so amazingly blessed to have a Savior who was willing to lay down his own life for us.
We have had a pretty good week this past week. The weather was wonderful. Warmth and sunshine to be enjoyed. Saturday though was cold and rainy. We went to the park to enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt. Although there wasn't much enjoyment. It was so cold and wet that we froze. Then the organizers decided to hold off the start of the hunt another 5 minutes in hopes that more kids would show. However by the time they started my Kimmie was so cold that she had lost interest. I got her to actually pick up about 3 eggs and a few candies. And then we headed home to warm up again.
This morning she was excited to see that the Easter Bunny had made an appearence at our house. She very excitedly hunted for the eggs that he had "pooped" all over the house for her to find. She chose to stay home from church instead of going with me.
We had a wonderful pancake, sausage and egg breakfast at church. Wonderful fellowship and the kids had lots of fun activities. Then we enjoyed a wonderful worship service. Then the creative arts department put on an awesome program. I had actually watched a video on YouTube last night that ended up being part of their program this morning. It's a good video but it was so much more moving in person.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and can take some time to remember how truly blessed we all are.
