First Day of Spring my BUTT!!!!

So today was apparently the first day of spring. Well atleast according to the calendar but you would never know it to look out the window. It started snowing last night before I went to bed and was still snowing this morning when I got up. This is what we woke up to.



I'm starting to think that winter is NEVER going to end. The Easter egg hunts that should have been this weekend have all been cancelled. Just about the time that the weather gets nice and we start to see a glimps of grass in the yard it snows again. It's like Mother Nature is just teasing us to be cruel.

I'm thinking that Spring is never coming.....

Monday is St. Patrick's Day and Easter is next weekend and there is still a foot of snow in our yard. I did see a small patch of grass where it had melted but nothing to really get excited about. And then to top it off most of the day was filled with rain, snow, rain, and more snow. I don't see an Easter Egg hunt happening at all this year. The park is full of snow. Big difference from last year for sure. Last year we were in t-shirts and capris for Easter. At this rate I'm picturing snow in my yard still in June.
